5 Ways To Tell If You’re The Pure Heart Archetype

Do you love puppies? Do you have woodland creatures visit you every morning to help you get dressed? Do your eyes take up 90% of the real estate on your face? It’s highly likely you’re The Pure Heart archetype. This is excellent for 2 reasons.

1. The Pure Hearts are basically sunshine in human form

2. There aren’t that many of them in the business world which makes you quite unique darling!

Honestly though some people get a little, well offended, if they get categorised as The Pure Heart. Which is fair enough. If you’re a business woman, you don’t want some internet quiz telling you you’re basically a 7 year old with pigtails running a business and you have no idea what you’re doing.

That couldn’t be further from the truth but how do you know if you actually are The Pure Heart archetype?

We can all benefit from learning more about ourselves, so we can apply that to our businesses but where the hell are we supposed to start?

Right here.

Seriously - here is a Brand Archetype quiz that will tell you exactly what your business vibe is and how you can use this information to stay on brand and create the kind of environment your customers love and expect.

There are 12 different Brand Archetypes. Nurturer, Badass, Alchemist, Pure Heart, Adventuress, Girl Next Door, Heroine, Mischief Maker, Lover, Sage, Queen and Creatress.

LET’S TALK ABOUT The Pure Heart ARCHETYPE… HERE’S HOW TO TELL IF THAT’S YOU.

1. You have the motto ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ tattooed on your butt

Just kidding. The Pure Heart would NEVER get a tattoo and certainly not on their butt. You most likely have that motto engraved on a perfect vegan leather notebook you carry around to record all your beautiful thoughts. What a sweet thing you are.

You spread optimism and happiness everywhere you go, your glass is always half full and and you have an unbridled sense of wonder. It’s like you live every day as if it’s the first time you’ve been to Disneyland.

You notice the little things and you can’t step outside without noticing raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Yep, you guessed it - Maria Von Trapp is The Pure Heart archetype so if you’re looking for some inspo, whip up some outfits out of the curtains and teach your kids to sing in an adorable troupe. That’s The Pure Heart attitude!

2. You are the opposite of almost everyone else in business

Most other archetypes (except for Lovers maybe) have a streak of negativity but not The Pure Hearts. You are the opposite of jaded, constantly seeing the best in every situation and never feeling as if everything is hopeless.

People are totally captivated by you and find you utterly enchanting. You have a nostalgia about you that’s irresistible. Probably the most charming of all the archetypes, you can use these Pure Heart wiles to you advantage. Not to manipulate people (you’d NEVER do that!) but you are a pure little snowflake and everyone wants a slice of your magic.

Keep this in mind whenever you share things on social media - you naturally add an air of wide eyed wonderment to everything you do and people love to borrow those rose coloured lenses for a while. Make everything you do beautiful.

3. People think you’re naive and this is your greatest superpower

Your childlike innocence can often be misconstrued as naivety so people might think they can take advantage of you but just because you’re bright eyed and you appear quite dreamy doesn’t mean you aren’t smart and savvy. You’re basically like a bunny rabbit with Wolverine claws.

You’d never USE your Wolverine claws but you know they’re there. Sneaky squirrel.

4. You are an unassuming power house

Not many people know this but The Pure Heart archetypes are actual geniuses. You have brilliant imagination and the ability to use proper, immersive and innocent play to bring them to fruition.

You also have the unwavering faith that anything is achievable and everything will be fine in the end.

Other archetypes say things like ‘It will never work!’ and ‘That idea is stupid Greg!’ and ‘What happens if we fall?’.

The Pure Heart says ‘I have complete faith it work!’ and ‘Let’s do it Greg!’ and ‘... but what if we fly?’.

Hot tip: The Pure Hearts thrive in clean, pure environments. You probably already know this about yourself but a clear desk and lots of natural light are essential for your productivity. Not surprisingly Marie Kondo is The Pure Heart archetype and is one of the savviest women in business… but you’d never guess because she's like a kitten in an apron. It’s her main super power and she knows it.

5. You are excellent at breaking things down and simplifying them

Pure Hearts are very skilled at pinpointing the unnecessary parts of the process and removing it. Have you ever built a castle of blocks or baked a cake with a kid? They’ll often point out a task you’re doing, ask why you’re doing it and accurately point out that you don’t need to include that step in the process. Regular adults get trapped in routine - The Pure Hearts archetypes are innovative and fresh.

Your audience are captivated by your luminous view on life and they find your energy infectious - capitalise on this and include your unique rose coloured tint in everything you do.

You know what else your audience loves? That feeling of hope you inspire in them. Keep doing that. That’s what keeps your fans hanging around.

This goes without saying but don’t try to be edgy or cool. Sorry but that’s just not you. Your wholesomeness isn’t boring - it’s what your customers keep coming back for.

Keep things simple, beautiful and joy filled. That’s what your customers come to you for so shower then with clean images, pastel hues and child like graphics. It suits you and your customers to a T.

Pretty sure you’re a Pure Heart but want to make super sure?
